TULLY MOSS
TULLY MOSS is the President of The Magellan Alliance. He has 25 years of consulting experience and previously was with the Cresap division of Towers Perrin. He has advised major global organizations such as Avery Dennison, DuPont, and IBM. He has extensive experience in health care and insurance, where his clients have included Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, FM Global, ISG Technologies, Kaiser Permanente, Liberty Mutual, Philips NV, and WellPoint. Tully has lived in Asia, is knowledgeable about several Asian markets, and has provided advisory services related to offshoring in Asia.

He holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Williams College, where he graduated cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.

STEVE HUCAL
STEVE HUCAL, a managing director of Magellan Alliance, is an experienced financial services executive with deep expertise in credit card services and direct experience in starting and overseeing outsourcing and shared services operations.

Steve previously was the Executive Vice President of Credit and Financial Services for Hudson’s Bay Company, Senior Vice President and Director of Credit Card Services for KeyCorp, and the senior credit policy executive for the Sears Credit Division of Sears, Roebuck and Co. He also has been the start-up CEO of two companies, Genesis Analytics and TD MarketSite, a division of TD Bank Financial Group.

His corporate work involved several outsourcing and transaction processing initiatives, including serving as Chairman of the Nor-Don Collection Network division of Hudson’s Bay Company, a team member of the SPS Transaction Services division for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and a leadership role in developing the Global Trading Web Association, which involved establishing partnerships with Fortune Global 100 corporations and which positioned TD as a pioneer in global e-commerce.

He holds two U.S. patents, including one for a tiered interest rate revolving credit system. Steve is a C.P.A. (Ernst & Young) and graduated from Syracuse (with a B.S. in accounting) and from Wharton (with an M.B.A.). He also has completed post-graduate studies in Central Europe on East-West trade.

ANDREW BERRY
ANDREW BERRY has 20 years of experience in property casualty insurance. He started his career as an insurance broker in the London and U.K. retail brokerage markets. He then spent nine years as a risk management consultant with Tillinghast – Towers Perrin in London and Boston. He consulted with Fortune 500 corporations, US and European multinationals and public sector organizations. He has also worked in the captive management industry with Strategic Risk Solutions, an independent captive management company.

More recently, he was co-founder and President of GRX Technologies. GRX was an industry leader in the development of collaborative technologies streamlining the management of large commercial insurance programs. GRX was at the forefront of the use of XML data standards in the insurance industry and was active in the development of ACORD’s data standards initiative. Andrew served as founding CEO of the company, raising early stage funding and recruiting senior management. During this time, the company was the recipient of the first HP Garage E-Scholarship and was featured in Business 2.0.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nottingham University in the U.K. and a MBA (summa cum laude) from Babson College. He holds Fellowship of the Institute of Risk Management (FIRM) and Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) designations. Andrew is an expert commentator for the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) on the subject of insurance technology. He is a member of the RIMS Technology Advisory Committee and was the founding editor of RIMSTech, the Society’s technology bulletin.

CHRISTIAN GERWINAT
CHRISTIAN GERWINAT brings clients the insights that come from having had extensive experience working in diverse international markets. He is currently based in Germany, but has also lived in the United States, Austria, Denmark, Turkey, and Sierra Leone. He is fluent in German and English and conversant in French and Danish.

From work experience that has also included a blend of engineering and insurance economics, Christian brings a solid grounding in the complex risk management issues confronting international corporations. This experience includes having been an engineer for Factory Mutual, an insurance specialist for Deutsche Industrie Versicherungsstelle GmbH, and a risk consultant for BT plc.

Christian holds degrees from the University of Cologne in mechanical engineering and insurance economics.

JEAN-PIERRE BERLIET
JEAN-PIERRE BERLIET is a strategy consultant who helps companies make more money and increase their value. He has expertise in capital and risk management and strategic planning across the insurance, healthcare, and banking industries.

Mr. Berliet was most recently a Senior Manager in the Risk and Capital Management Practice of the Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services Practice at Ernst & Young. He focused on helping insurance companies develop risk based strategic decision making tools and establish risk adjusted performance measurement frameworks. He led the development of the initial methodology needed for this purpose while he was a senior consultant at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin. This activity was extended to include development of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and linkages to value based management.

Earlier in his career, he held senior executive positions in strategic planning and corporate development at Liberty Mutual, MetLife, Citibank, Continental Bank and General Electric, as well as in strategy consulting, principally with The Boston Consulting Group.

Mr. Berliet is a graduate of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Paris and of the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University, New York.

MARIA CAROLINA DOMINGUEZ
MARIA CAROLINA DOMINGUEZ is the president of our affiliated firm in the Philippines and Indonesia, John Clements Consultants, Inc. This firm is the largest human resources consulting firm in the Philippines and it has over a decade of experience in addressing outsourcing issues. Clients of her firm include HSBC, IBM, Sitel, and The World Bank.

Maria holds an M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Northwestern University. She previously was a global trade officer with Citibank, during which time she had postings in New York, London, and Milan.

ROSHAN MASSEY
ROSHAN MASSEY brings more than 17 years of technology management and consulting experience in which he has led teams through through the development and implementation of global enterprise applications. He has conducted outsourcing-related engagements in India, the Philippines, and Southeast Asia. His global enterprise solutions experience has involved work in Asia, Australia, and the United States, and his clients have included major global corporations such as General Motors. His manufacturing and distribution systems experience has involved work on major ERP systems such as Oracle, QAD, and Fujitsu Glovia. Roshan was a co-founder of a high technology company that developed the ADAGE ERP system, and he was instrumental in selling ADAGE to Philadelphia-based SCT. Roshan was educated in India, England, and Australia.

WENDY HUANG
WENDY HUANG is a strategy and organizational effectiveness consultant who has worked in a wide range of industries, including health care, beverages, and telecommunications. Clients have included Ameritech, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Canadian Pacific Rail, Genzyme, Heineken, and Pfizer.

In addition to her operating and consulting experiences with large corporations, Wendy has worked at several start-ups. Her responsibilities with these firms have included marketing, strategy development, and operations.

Wendy is also the Founder and Executive Director of Team Survivor NYC, a non-profit started in August 2006. The organization provides fitness, health education, and support programs for women affected by cancer.

Wendy holds and a M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Math and Economics from Northwestern University.
